Joshua Rasch Bio
Joshua Rasch has lived in Oklahoma, Florida, Maryland, Texas, Pennsylvania and currently in North Carolina. He has been to Mexico, Costa Rica, Thailand, China, Burma, and Africa on Mission trips with Global Expeditions. He went on his first trip when he was 16 and he started to help lead trips when he turned 21. Joshua graduated high school in Pennsylvania at Kennard-Dale where he received “friendliest” superlative. Joshua and his class went through the struggle of deciding where to spend the next few years of their lives knowing the choice would affect them forever. He ended up choosing the Honor Academy which he now says was one of the best decisions he has ever made. The Honor Academy is a one year internship set up to build character and leadership to prepare young people to follow their dreams and impact the world. Joshua graduated the internship and decided to commit two more years as a Core advisor and co-led a group of men and women. His last year at the Honor Academy he received the Relationship award. This award is given to those who exemplify servant’s hearts and who go to heroic lengths to meet the needs of others. Because of Joshua’s passion to see young people grow, he immediately started working with his youth group after the Honor Academy. While on a retreat where the group did servant projects for a young girls’ pregnancy center, Joshua realized he wanted to help guide teens to make more positive decisions. A friend introduced him to an organization called Love 180, at the time called Youth 180, and he quickly was made a part of the team. Joshua has been speaking and serving with Love 180 since Feb, ’08. He now resides in North Carolina where he continues to speak and make a difference.
